This Arts & Crafts style house was built for Right Worshipful Brother Charles William O'Neill (1881-1963) who lived here from 1920 until his death in 1963.

The City of Duncan's records do not have a definite construction date for this house but Charles O'Neill's obituary states that he had this house built as his personal residence in 1920 and that he lived here until his death in 1963.

The obituary also states that the meeting at which the formation of Tzouhalem Chapter, No. 26, Royal Arch Masons was planned was held in this house. Tzouhalem Chapter, No. 26, R.A.M. was formed in 1926.
